Alemania y Países Bajos adquieren 222 vehículos de combate Jackal

El 20 de octubre de 2025, los Ministerios de Defensa de Alemania y los Países Bajos firmaron un contrato conjunto de adquisición para la compra de 222 vehículos de combate de infantería “Jackal”, en el marco de la Organización Conjunta de Cooperación en Materia de Armamento (OCCAR). El acuerdo, valuado en aproximadamente USD 4.000 millones, contempla la entrega de 150 unidades al Ejército alemán y 72 a las Fuerzas Armadas neerlandesas, con un cronograma de producción y suministro a desarrollarse durante los próximos años.

El vehículo Jackal está basado en la plataforma 8×8 Boxer, incorporando una torre de combate de 30 mm derivada del vehículo Puma, lo que le otorga una capacidad de fuego y protección comparable a la de un blindado pesado, pero con mayor movilidad táctica. Su diseño modular permite configurar variantes para transporte de personal, evacuación médica, apoyo de fuego y artillería autopropulsada, integrando así una amplia gama de misiones dentro de una misma familia de vehículos.
