El 30 de septiembre de 2025, la Armada del Ejército Popular de Liberación de China ejecutó un ejercicio de entrenamiento en el mar de la China Oriental, con la participación de buques de superficie, aeronaves embarcadas y efectivos de Infantería de Marina. La operación se desarrolló en áreas designadas por el Comando de Teatro Oriental, en un marco de adiestramiento programado por el Estado Mayor Central.

Asimismo, se llevaron a cabo maniobras de reabastecimiento en el mar, simulaciones de ataque contra blancos de superficie y ejercicios coordinados de aviación naval. El despliegue buscó integrar las capacidades conjuntas de las fuerzas participantes bajo condiciones de combate realista.
La conducción se realizó en coordinación entre comandantes de flotillas y personal de los centros de mando del Comando de Teatro Oriental. Durante la actividad, los buques principales establecieron comunicaciones seguras, emplearon sistemas de mando y control digital y realizaron ensayos de interoperabilidad con aeronaves de ala fija y rotatoria.
El Ministerio de Defensa de China informó a través de medios oficiales que los ejercicios forman parte del calendario anual de instrucción. Voceros militares subrayaron que las operaciones se efectuaron conforme a planes rutinarios y que el entrenamiento contribuye a mantener la preparación combativa de la Armada en escenarios de alta mar.
