Rusia e India inician ejercicios militares conjuntos

El 1 de octubre de 2025 comenzaron en el estado de Rajastán, noreste de la India, los ejercicios militares bilaterales “Indra 2025”, que se extenderán durante 15 días. Las maniobras se desarrollan en el campo de tiro de Mahajan y tienen por finalidad fortalecer la cooperación entre las fuerzas terrestres de ambos países en operaciones conjuntas de carácter antiterrorista, informó el Ministerio de Defensa ruso.

Según el Ministerio de Defensa de la India, los ejercicios “Indra” forman parte de un programa de entrenamiento conjunto que incluye también las series “Avia Indra” y “Indra Navy”, destinadas a las fuerzas aéreas y navales, respectivamente. Estas actividades buscan mejorar los procedimientos operativos combinados y el intercambio de experiencias en combate moderno.

Durante las maniobras se realizarán prácticas de planificación táctica, combate en áreas urbanizadas, coordinación de fuego de apoyo y operaciones de reconocimiento. El objetivo central es elevar la interoperabilidad entre las unidades rusas e indias, así como perfeccionar las tácticas de lucha contra grupos armados y amenazas asimétricas.

La cooperación técnico-militar entre Rusia e India se ha expandido en las últimas décadas hasta incluir proyectos conjuntos de investigación, desarrollo y producción de armamento. Entre los programas destacados se encuentran el misil de crucero BrahMos, la producción bajo licencia de tanques T-90, de aviones de combate rusos en territorio indio y la fabricación de fusiles AK-203, en el marco del programa nacional de autosuficiencia industrial de la India.
